Day 1: Flight to Riyadh. Arrival at hotel
Arrival in Riyadh. Airport transfer can be arranged if desired.
Installing in hotel and free evening.
Day 2: Day excursion to see Edge of the world
On the menu for today: the famous Edge of the World viewpoint. We are one of the only companies which have permission to visit this site, so don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise. This is a very relaxing tour to the mountains, with great sunset views, hiking in the mountains and a picnic with traditional dinner and music. We’ll pick you up at 1 pm and will drive around one and a half hours, followed by exploring the area and sunset view. We’ll have Arabic coffee and tea again, followed by traditional BBQ and you’ll be back in Riyadh around 10 PM.
Day 3: Day excursion to see Ushaiqer cultural village
Uschaiqir is a village located 200 km northwest of Riyadh in the al-Vashim plain, which belongs to the Najd highlands. The area of the village is only four km². The village, surrounded by a wall and towers, has 400 houses, 25 mosques, 30 towers, 600 orchards and 80 wells, some of which are centuries old. Numerous buildings in the historic town center have been preserved in traditional clay construction. The place was a station for pilgrims from Kuwait, Iraq and Iran. There is a local history museum on site. Our day will start at 10 am with arrival at the Ushaiger Heritage Village.(visit to the museum and the mud houses), we’ll have a late lunch and around 4 pm we’ll head back to Riyadh and will arrive between 6 pm and 7 pm.
Day 4: Al Qassim and Uyun Al-Jiwa
We will visit the old mud Al-Margab watchtower which was built for guarding the area, as well as the Old Souq (Al Majlis), Al Uyun Al-Gidemah: an old neighborhood with historical mud and clay houses, after which we we discover Qassim. We will sleep in the region tonight.
Day 5: Hail
Today we discover the Jubbah Rock carvings and we can also go discover the Al Nafud Desert. We’ll sleep in Hail tonight.
Day 6: Back to Riyadh (6 h driving)
We drive back to Riyadh today and will arrive somewhere in the afternoon, after which you can have a free evening.
Day 7: Flight to Abha
Flight to Abha, schedule depends on the time of booking. The rest of the day is off.
Day 8: Abha – Rija Almaa Day Tour
Rijal Almaa is located in the region around Abha and used to be a linking point and regional trading center where traders from Yemen and all over KSA and the Levant come together. You can find stone buildings with over 60 stories high made with stone, clay and wood and many old castles and other buildings of importance. There is also a museum. It is an important heritage for the country.
We will then also go to the Sodah Mountains to hike and explore and enjoy a magnificent sunset view as a great ending of the day.

Day 9: Al Habalah tour from Abha
We’ll go to a nice small mountain village also in the Asir region around Abha. It is located below the peak of a mountain and used to be inhabited by the flower men who would enter the village through a rope ladder (Habala means rope). This was to be protected from outsiders. Nowadays the village is mostly empty. We will discover the area around it and the rock formations in the mountains and enjoy the scenery together. You will get to learn everything about the history of this place.
We will also visit the museum and traditional markets today. Lunch and dinner included
Day 10: Drive to Taif (7 hours)
Boasting gentle, temperate climate all year long while most of the Arabian Peninsula endures suffocating heat, Taif is a favorite summer retreat for the royals and commoners alike. The city is nestled upon the Al-Sarawat Mountains, this Mecca Province city is situated at around 1700 m above sea level. Aside from its cool climate being its biggest attraction, Taif is also renowned for its rich agriculture, rose gardens, and friendly locals. Nowadays, the smell of a unique species of rose perfumes the street and has ensured the continued celebrity of the region. In the evenings the open spaces in the villages, souqs, and the surrounding parks are packed with people enjoying its cool climate. We will install ourselves at the hotel, the day after we’ll explore Taif.
Day 11: Jeddah
In the afternoon we’ll start our tour of Jeddah with a visit to the stunning coral and wood-made old Ottoman houses in the city. One of the most eye-catching and historically-important ones is the Nasif House which was built in the 1850s by the well-known Nasif family. After lunch, explore the state-of-the-art Jeddah Corniche, a major attraction that acts as an open-air museum with modern sculpture displays and a hangout place of the locals. We’ll also stop by Abdul Rauf Khalil Art Museum which houses a significant and unusual collection of arts, ethnography, and archaeology artifacts.
Day 12: Madinah
Day trip to Madinah, which was long off-limits for westerners, but now we can explore most of the city without any problems and get a great insight in one of the most important religious sites in the world! In the evening we’ll go back to Jeddah and you can have your PCR-test.
Day 13: Departure
Flight back.
